Fabrication

Fabrication is where 95% of the world is done, installation is only the last stage which includes the whole process of securing material, handling and storing it, cutting it, shaping and polishing it, and pre-fitting all the pieces together to make certain it will all fit, prepping the pieces to anchor them, packing them to the job….and then finally installing it- which sometimes requires even more fabrication on the site.

It’s painstaking work, where a small mistake late in the process can require expensive repurchasing material, refabrication,  even more site fabrication….  the unsung heroes of the fancy marble job are those guys who labor back in the shop and sometimes never get to see their work in its final resting place.
